Specially formulated for the unique requirements of Aroid family plants—such as Pothos, Philodendrons, Alocasias, Monsteras, ZZ plants, Aglaonemas, and more—our Aroid Mix offers a perfect blend of 50% responsibly sourced Sphagnum Peat Moss with moisture-balancing chunks of moss, charcoal, red pine bark, and lava rock. This carefully proportioned combination encourages strong root growth by providing excellent drainage and just the right amount of moisture retention. While ideal for Aroids, it also suits many other houseplants that thrive in well-aerated substrates. For an even more customized medium, consider mixing in additional perlite, charcoal, or fir bark to fine-tune water flow and nutrient retention.

The bag is about 6 1/2" × 4" × 18" in dimension, contains around 5.5 litres(186 oz) of soil. Each bag is enough to fill 15 nursery planters in 3.5" - 4" diameter, or 5 nursery planters in 5.5" - 6" diameter. The bag has metal tabs that allow easy opening and secure closure.
