Pinguicula Aphrodite
Pinguicula Aphrodite, is a spectacular Mexican butterwort hybrid Pinguicula agnata × Pinguicula moctezumae, known for its graceful rosette of long, arching, red-tinted leaves with vivid green midribs. The strap-like leaves are pointed, lightly curled at the edges, and appear succulent in texture, forming a broad, 3–5"+ spread when mature. In summer, the plant produces larger, sticky carnivorous leaves, while in winter it shifts to slightly smaller, more compact succulent growth. It blooms almost year-round, sending up multiple flowers that open a deep purple and fade to soft pink, adding charm to its already elegant structure.
